Pro Tip: Larger homes with multiple floors and rooms usually need more than 1 WIFI router for full coverage. Solid objects such as walls, floors, metal, fireplaces, wood and more can block wireless signals. Adding additional routers will provide multiple strong signals, in different ends of your home.
What We Don't Recommend
WIFI Extenders
WIFI Extenders can be a cheap tool to help boost signal into an area, but they also cause problems. Extenders are "Store & Forward" devices that take longer to repeat the signal. A weak signal in also means a slow speed out. While an extender can help with basic browsing and streaming music, other high data uses like streaming, gaming, VOIP and video really suffer when using them. We do not ever suggest using an extender, as they slow your home network down.
